Domestic Shipping within Japan

Carrier

Orders are delivered by Yamato Transport or Japan Post.

Shipping Fees

  • Domestic shipping within Japan (excluding Okinawa and remote islands) is free of charge.

  • For orders to Okinawa or remote islands, shipping is free on purchases over ¥3,000.

International Shipping

Carrier

Deliveries to countries and regions other than the United States and Canada are shipped via EMS (Japan Post International Express Mail Service).
For shipments to the United States and Canada, delivery will be made by DHL or FedEx, as EMS service is currently unavailable for these destinations.
The selection of the shipping carrier will be determined by TABBIA based on the destination and shipping conditions.

For certain countries or regions where EMS service is unavailable or temporarily suspended, delivery will be made by DHL or FedEx.

Customs Duties and Import Taxes

International shipments may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs handling fees imposed by the destination country.
These charges are the responsibility of the customer.
In some cases, customs authorities or the courier may request additional information such as identification numbers or invoice details.
Failure to provide the required information may result in delays, returns, or disposal of the shipment.
Any related costs will be borne by the customer.

Processing and Dispatch Time

Orders are usually processed and shipped within 1–3 business days after order confirmation.
(Excluding weekends, national holidays, year-end holidays, and peak seasons.)

Delivery Delays

Delivery may be delayed due to weather, traffic conditions, natural disasters, customs clearance, or carrier congestion—factors beyond our control.
We are not responsible for delays caused by such circumstances.

Redelivery and Unclaimed Packages

If you are not available at the time of delivery, a notice will be left by the courier.
Please follow the instructions on the notice to arrange a redelivery.
If the package is returned to us after the holding period has expired, reshipping fees will be charged to the customer.
For international shipments, if the parcel is returned or discarded due to refusal of import duties/taxes, an incorrect address, or non-payment, any related costs will also be borne by the customer.

Returns, Exchanges, and Warranty

We accept returns or exchanges only in the case of defects or damages caused by us.
If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 5 days of receipt at contact@tabbia-japan.com.
Please note:

  • Prior contact is required before returning any item.

  • For international returns, customs fees, shipping costs, and taxes are non-refundable unless the issue is due to our error.

Transfer of Ownership and Risk

Ownership and risk of loss or damage transfer to the customer once the product has been delivered.
