Payment Timing

Payment will be processed at the time of purchase (upon order confirmation).
The actual withdrawal date depends on your credit card’s billing cycle and terms; please check directly with your card issuer.
For pre-order or reservation items, the charge may occur before shipment or before you receive the item.

Delivery Timeframe

Orders are usually shipped within 1–3 business days after the order is confirmed.
Please note that delivery may be delayed due to traffic conditions, weather, or courier congestion.

For pre-order items, shipping will begin sequentially from the estimated dispatch date listed on each product page.
*For international orders, delivery may take longer than domestic shipments due to customs procedures and local delivery conditions.

Delivery Method

Orders are delivered by the following carriers:

  • Domestic (Japan): Sagawa Express or Japan Post

  • International: EMS (Japan Post International Express Mail Service), DHL, or FedEx

*International shipments are handled under DAP (Delivered At Place) terms, meaning customs duties, import taxes, and customs clearance fees are the responsibility of the recipient.

Shipping Fees

  • Domestic shipping within Japan (excluding Okinawa and remote islands) is free of charge.

  • For orders to Okinawa or remote islands, shipping is free on purchases over ¥3,000.

  • International shipping: Fees vary depending on destination and package weight.
    The total shipping cost will be automatically calculated at checkout.

Returns, Defective Items, and Cancellations

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for customer convenience.
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 5 days of delivery.

  • Photos of the damaged or defective areas may be requested for verification.

  • For returns from outside Japan: Unless the issue is caused by us (damage, defect, or wrong item), international return shipping, duties, and customs fees are not refundable.
    For authorized returns due to our error, we will cover the related costs.
    Unauthorized returns without prior contact cannot be accepted.

Refund Policy

If your item is defective or incorrect, we will cover the return shipping cost.
Please contact us within 5 days of receipt at contact@tabbia-japan.com before returning the product.
If a shipment is returned or discarded due to refusal of acceptance, non-payment of duties/taxes, incorrect address, or expired holding period, the following may apply:

  • Actual costs such as round-trip shipping, customs duties, handling fees, and administrative charges will be deducted from the refund.

  • Depending on the nature of the goods, carriers or customs may decide that the package cannot be returned and must be disposed of. In such cases, no refund will be possible.

Additional Notes for International Shipping

  • Import Duties & Taxes: Under DAP terms, all import duties, taxes, and customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient. Carriers may charge additional handling fees for prepayment of such costs.

  • Displayed Prices: Product prices on the site are tax-inclusive by default, but Japanese consumption tax may be excluded at checkout for international orders under export exemption rules.

  • Customs Information: Depending on the destination country’s laws, you may be required to provide personal identification numbers or additional invoice information for customs clearance. We are not responsible for delays, returns, or additional costs arising from missing information.

  • Refused or Undeliverable Shipments: If the shipment is refused, unclaimed, or returned due to incorrect address or non-payment of import fees, actual costs will be deducted from any refund. In cases where the shipment cannot be returned and is disposed of by customs, no refund will be issued.
