Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible, the item must be in the same condition as received, unopened/unused, and in the original packaging.
(Opening solely to verify an initial defect is not considered “used.”) -
A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Contact us within 5 days of delivery before sending any item back: contact@tabbia-japan.com.

Return shipping costs are covered by us only when the return is due to our fault (e.g., damage, defect, or wrong item).

Returns or exchanges for customer convenience are not accepted.

Unauthorized returns (no prior email authorization) cannot be processed. If you have any questions, email us at contact@tabbia-japan.com.
Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt. If the item is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong item, contact us within 5 days of delivery so we can evaluate and resolve the issue.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Products not purchased on the official TABBIA online store (e.g., other marketplaces or retailers).

Any item that has been used even once.

Hygiene items (including opened cosmetics/skincare). Unopened items may be accepted only if defective due to our fault.

Exchanges for customer convenience (e.g., “different from my image,” “ordered by mistake”).

If the delivery note/invoice is lost.

Shipments returned due to refusal of receipt, address errors entered by the customer, or expired holding periods; any resulting costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Orders placed via forwarding/third-party logistics services where issues (damage, loss, etc.) arise.

Returns due to delivery delays.

No contact within 5 days of delivery.

Sale items, limited items, gift cards, and any portion thereof.
International Returns

Returns from outside Japan are accepted only when due to our fault (damage, defect, or wrong item).

Returns for customer convenience cannot be accepted.

International return costs—including postage, duties, customs clearance fees, and any carrier advance/handling fees—are not refundable. (If the return is due to our fault, we will bear these costs.)

Customs may require additional documents or information to process a return. Failure to provide them may cause delays, return to sender, or disposal; any resulting costs are the customer’s responsibility.
Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll email you the result. If approved, a refund to the original payment method will be issued within 10 business days.
Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund. If 16 business days pass after our approval and you don’t see the refund, contact us at contact@tabbia-japan.com. -
If your order is returned or discarded due to refusal of acceptance, unpaid customs duties or import taxes, incorrect address, or expired holding period, all shipping and return-related costs will be borne by the customer, and no refund will be issued.

If the carrier or customs determines the parcel is non-returnable and must be disposed of, no refund will be issued.
Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law (e.g., legal guarantees for defective goods). Where local law grants you additional rights that cannot be limited, those rights will prevail.
